Cycling and Pedestrian Advisory Committee

THAT the minutes of the March 24, 2016 Cycling & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (CPAC) meeting be approved as presented.

THAT staff be asked to consider constructing interim sidewalks, preferably in concrete, on sections identified on 14th (east of Canfield Rd to Westside of Markham Rd & Birchmount Rd. to McDowell) and 16th Avenue (Kennedy Road to 145m west) as part of this year’s sidewalk program. In view of Council’s interest in cycling on sidewalks, it was suggested that staff review the 2016 program to see if any of the planned sidewalks could be MUPs instead.
